Security Essen returns to Messe Essen from September 22 to 25, 2026. It is the largest security trade fair in Central Europe, and this year it runs alongside the Euro Defence Expo for the first time, which widens the visitor mix well beyond the usual commercial security crowd.
Ran Yaron will be there for RBtec. He is attending as a visitor rather than exhibiting, and that is deliberate. With no stand to staff, his time on the floor belongs to conversations. He can come to your booth, or meet somewhere quiet away from the demo loops, instead of asking you to come to him.

Worth A Conversation If You Are Working On Any Of These
These are the problems Ran spends most of his time on, and the ones most worth bringing to him:
- Long perimeters where per-zone hardware stops making commercial sense and a single sensing cable starts to.
- Substations, solar parks and water sites that need a detection layer reporting through the SCADA or telemetry already running at the site.
- Yards where the threat arrives over the fence rather than through it, which a fence-mounted sensor is not built to see.
- Sites that already have cameras and good coverage, where the gap is the alert that should be pointing them.
- Projects where an incumbent sensor has not been meeting the detection performance the specification asked for.
- Tenders with compliance language attached, where the documentation matters as much as the hardware.
Bring a scaled site plan or photographs if you have them. Coverage questions get much better answers when there is a drawing on the table, and Ran can get a concept layout moving while you are both still in Essen rather than three weeks after the show.
