The SL-3 Vibration Perimeter Alarm System
The SL-3 was a fence-mounted sensor line combining detection ability, reliability and price. The SL-3 electronic shock vibration fence sensor cable provided 32 levels of sensitivity and accurate response to vibration frequencies on the fence caused by cutting, climbing or lifting — 360 degrees around the sensor, in three axes.
The SL-3 shaker sensor was supplied tested and pre-assembled in 3 m / 10 ft intervals, ready to mount on any new or existing perimeter fence: wire, chain link, welded mesh, razor coil or barbed wire. The sensor was maintenance free thanks to 10 gold-plated contact points, and was self-cleaning, allowing a very low false alarm rate.
